Mavs Coach Busted For Drunk Driving

Former Dallas Mavericks player "Popeye" Jones is facing a drunk driving charge in North Texas.
Jones was arrested last night in the 100 block of South Greenville Avenue in Richardson after other drivers reported someone driving erratically.  Police say Jones briefly struggled while he was being handcuffed.  He fell and suffered some cuts, but he will not be charged with resisting arrest.
Jones played with the Mavs from 1993 to 1996 and again during the 2002-2003 season.  He's currently working as a Mavs player development coach.
