Freeze Warning Issued For Parts Of North Texas



A freeze warning is in effect from 4 am to 9 am cst Wednesday.
The National Weather Service has issued a freeze warning from 4 am to 9 am cst Wednesday.
Temperatures tonight and early Wednesday morning will drop to near freezing in the warning counties.  The coldest temperatures will occur in valleys and other sheltered locations.  While some locations such as hilltops will not reach freezing a widespread frost is expected across the area. Frost can be just as damaging as a freeze to tender vegetation.
These conditions will kill sensitive plants and residents are advised to protect any tender vegetation.
The following counties are included in the warning:  Montague-Cooke-Wise-Denton-Parker-Hood-Somervell-Bosque- 
Young-Jack-Stephens-Palo Pinto-Eastland-Erath-Comanche-Mills-Hamilton.
