Fort Worth police are investigating a report of a person posing as a city inspector.
Police say the man actually demands fees, then issues fake permits at the construction site. Police say they have only received one official report but say the man did return to the construction site on two different days attempting the scam.
Police warn contractors to be suspicious of people posing as city inspectors who ask for money to buy permits in the field.
