Dallas Police Chief David Kunkle fired an officer today. Officer Robert Ramsey was terminated for using inappropriate force on a citizen back in March of last year. Police say he also failed to follow policies when he released that person.
Police also say they learned the officer in general was writing tickets to people for offenses he didn't even witness.
Officer Ramsey had served on the Department for three years.
