Congress Urged To Debate Hike In Gas Tax

The nation's Transportation Secretary urges Congress to debate the idea of hiking the gas tax to pay for road construction.  It came at the North Texas Transportation Summit hosted by Congressman Michael Burgess.  He doesn't like the idea, saying Texas isn't getting it's fair share of highway funds now.  The north Texas Republican says during a down economy it is no time to hike taxes.  LaHood blames Congress for  wanting to pass a large transportation bill but not considering how to pay for it.
